could it get any worse??!!

what's up with Friday the 18th? it seems that i was showered with misfortune on this day! Christmas eve-- I learned that my Digital Camera was lost while it was on my sister's possession. She borrowed the camera from me Thursday last week, 'coz according to her, they will be having their Christmas party the next day. I handed the camera to her heavy-heartedly, i didn't realize that it'll be the very last time that i could ever touch my beloved cam! huhuhu!

She didn't tell me everything at once as she was still trying to recover the camera and maybe she didn't want to add up to my worries. She only confessed everything to me when she finally realized that it's really gone! why oh why?! for those who're puzzled why i was frantic about this date--try to read my first entry. My wallet and camera got stolen on the same day--only on a diverse circumstance.

Hair Fall -- no more!

I have experienced vast hair fall for the past years. I couldn’t even remember how and when it started. I’ve tried different measures to lessen it but to no avail. I tried to convince myself that maybe it’s just my hair fall season (if there’s such a thing) and it shall pass. But my! Are we talking about years here? I knew something wasn’t going right. It has become so alarming, I mean, no one wants to be bald at this age! I sure don’t want to be even when I’m older. So the quest began for the best product.

I tried switching from one shampoo to another--sunsilk, pantene, elseve, main n tail, almost all the shampoos that promises to lessen your hair fall--name it! I tried consulting an ob-gyne, coz I was suspecting this is due to hormonal imbalance. But when she interpreted my test results. Negative! So the hormonal imbalance thingy has been ruled out.

Google has been such a friend, provided me with lots of information about the foods, supplements I should take that could possibly solve my problem--took and used those but just the same--hair fall galore! I got tired and pissed that I already took it offhand. Since to my ability, I tried everything I could but nothing seemed to work. Until I met this product ..Nature’s Gate Biotin Strengthening shampoo. I got it from Healthy Options, costs 199 for 532ml, not bad! It’s specially formulated for weak, fragile, and thinning hair. It has a unique blend of Biotin and Amino Acids to help fortify hair--as the label says. So there.

I don’t really have high hopes when I bought this product. As I’ve said, I’ve given up on this hair issue months back. But to my surprise. It delivers! I owe this product a lot! My Holy Grail!

Friday The 18th???

well, as much as i don't want to start this blog with an entry about a regrettable incident..still, i feel the need to blog about this one.

Please be wary of the people around you..too many burglars are lurking around. waiting for their easy victim. Especially at this time of year. Robbers are working double time, unfortunately, at our expense!

Here's the story:

I was at the mall yesterday(particularly SM Bacoor), Christmas shopping with my mom and my toddler. I was wearing a body bag 'coz I was anticipating we would go home carrying a lot of stuff, so for convenience, i opted to wear one. This is the first and only time I brought cash with me 'coz again, i was anticipating a lengthy queue in front of ATM machines, so to avoid having to go through the hassle, i decided to withdraw money the night before(i will need that money to pay for my PAG-IBIG loan, since i heard that SM already accepts payment for it.)

We were at TOY KINGDOM first, then we decided to move to the department store for more choices. We were almost done, the items to be bought were already in the cart. Until my mom invited me to see some sale items at the ladies' wear section. Wow! a lot of good and cheapy finds indeed! While i was digging for good items, my toddler asked me to carry him. So, can you just imagine how busy i was that i totally forgot about my bag? so there.

While we were approaching the fitting room, i noticed my bag unzipped, i panicked and looked for my wallet, but it's not there anymore! (inside were my credit and debit cards, license, Ids, pictures plus cash!) I hurriedly shouted "Ma! ang wallet ko wala dito!" We were both hysterical, i ran to the cashier to ask if they have a land line so i can call my credit card company to have my card blocked right away, she then referred me to the customer service, the customer service then referred me to the nearest payphone, only to find out--that i don't even have a single coin! I went up to my mom to get some coins..when she realized, she has a land line pala with her! *toinks! how could i forget?! i even called her land line a few hours before that incident, 'coz i lost sight of them.

Good thing i was able to have my card(both atm and credit)canceled! before that burglar can cause an even worse head/heart/pocket ache!!!

and guess what? there were few of us at the customer service area complaining about the same incident! they're so everywhere!

Hay! just the thought of having to go through the process of getting a new license! makes my head ache!

And the fact that i know the intruder was just watching me freak out over my lost wallet, gives me goosebumps!

I'm gonna miss my wallet! it was a gift from hubby! how could i forgive myself?! I feel so stupid! Oh well, lesson learned. I should be more careful next time. I hope karma will haunt that robber soon!
